I teach IB English only, with most of my students taking Language and Literature at SL or HL. My lessons usually centre on Paper 1 technique, unseen texts and clearer comparative writing. I like working from actual student paragraphs, not just model answers, because it shows where the argument is getting lost. I also help with oral planning and choosing evidence that does enough work.

Hi, I tutor IB English and keep lessons pretty practical. If your teacher says your analysis is “too descriptive”, we’ll fix that by looking at how to move from spotting techniques to explaining effect. I’ve worked with students on Paper 1, Paper 2 and IO scripts, especially those who understand the book but struggle to get it onto the page. I’m patient, but I’ll be honest about what needs rewriting.

I specialise in IB English Literature and have supported students through poetry, drama and prose texts at both SL and HL.
